Janus Deli is a sandwich, sweets and sips slinging eatery, located just a short stroll from Surfers Paradise beach on Hanlan St.
Joining its larger Molendinar sibling, this delicious nosh spot is serving up freshly-baked donuts, deli delights, unique drinks and more from 7 am-3pm Sunday to Thursday and 7 am-9pm on Friday's and Saturday's.
Boasting a retro diner-inspired fit-out with the beloved Janus Deli red and blue branding, this space is full of playful personality, a vibe which perfectly accompanies the fun and flavoursome menu.
Speaking of the menu, it is made up of a selection of European deli-inspired sandos with a few signature Korean and Japanese sprinklings to top it all off.
The sandwich offering includes the JFC (soy garlic fried chicken thigh, lettuce, apple slaw and mayo in a potato bun), Janus Deli Delight (mortadella, leg ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion, kiwi yoghurt dressing and mayo on turkish bread), Moo-licious (corned beef, sauerkraut, pickles, swiss cheese, Janus sauce and mayo, toasted on fresh sourdough), Piggy in the Middle (pulled Pork, pickles, apple slaw, lettuce, Swiss cheese, chipotle, bbq sauce, mayo, panini), The Seoul Sub (Korean Galbi meatballs, Galbi sauce, poached egg, jalepeno, mayo, mozzarella, soft baguette), Truffy Mushy (Truffle mushroom, provolone, mozzarella, truffle mayo, toasted on fresh sourdough) and Tuuuuna (Mayo, Tuna, lettuce, mustard, Dukkah, Turkish bread).
Diners can also enjoy a sumptuous selection of Korean Fried Chicken, fries and freshly-baked donuts. The Gaytime donut, Dough-kie, a mouth-watering fusion of a chocolate chip cookie and donut, the fairy bread donut or creme brulee.
When it comes to the drinks, you can slurp down a smooth coffee, matcha latte, pistachio latte, iced biscoff, strawberry matcha latte and ube latter - just to name a few.
