Buttery pastries, top notch coffee and melt-in-your-mouth pasta collide at Farina & Co. 

Located in Southport's Alcove retail precinct, the bakery, cafe and pasta bar is a one-stop coffee and carb station. 

You'll feel as though you've been transported to a elegant and chic European bistro, with lemon yellow umbrellas, marble tables and French bistro chairs lining the length of the venue. Step inside and you're met with some communal-style dining tables, bench seating, an open kitchen and some eye-catching decor and lighting.  

Farina & Co serves a sumptuous selection of freshly-baked pastries, pasta and brunch plates from 6am-3pm Wednesday-Sunday. In the cabinet you'll find flaky croissants, cakes, tarts and cookies, alongside an all-day menu featuring the likes of cacio pepe eggs in parmesan sauce; caramelised pear and sweet polenta; pumpkin frittata with roasted butternut pumpkin, caramelised shallots, eggs, goats cheese, and sage; prosciutto-topped foccacia; mortadella paninis; salads and soup. 

When it comes to the pasta, some standouts of the current menu include the winter greens pesto with house-made casarecce cavolonero and almond pesto, stracciatella and black lava salt; and the Morton Bay Bug Linguine with house-made fettucine, pan-kissed tomatoes, garlic, white wine, Morton Bay bug and cerval. 

Wash it all down with an Allpress Espresso coffee, toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, milkshake or glass wine or cocktail anytime after 10 am. 

Need to know: There is a small car park available for customers to the Alcove precinct.
